Methods of Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express securely through PayPal. In addition, we accept money orders, cashier's checks as well as personal checks. We strongly discourage the sending of cash via mail. We ask that you provide us with the normal processing time when paying by personal checks. All other payment methods will result in your order being shipped within 24 hours. All prices are in U.S. funds.
Shipping And Handling
Ancient Coin Store takes great pride in its offerings and insures all shipments. A flat fee of $4.00 dollars will be charged for shipping and handling (including insurance) for domestic U.S. shipping. International purchases are also welcome, however note that actual shipping cost and conditions are directly related to the destination country; you will be informed as to the final shipping cost prior to processing your order.
Please note that the final shipping cost will be added to the amount of your purchase and will be clearly shown in your confirmation email.
Guarantees (excluding Special items - see below)
All coins from the Ancient Coin Store are guaranteed to be authentic, unless clearly stated otherwise. If at any point you verify that your purchase of an original coin is deemed not to be authentic, simply contact us with details and you will receive a full refund.
We honor a 30-day unconditional money back warrantee on all of our coins. Within the first 30 days of your purchase, you may return the coin to us in its original, undamaged state and receive a full refund, minus original shipping costs.
Special Discounted Items
Specials (Discounted Items) are listed on the Ancient Coin Store at savings of 50%-75% off industry standard pricing. We achieve this by cleaning and preparing coins without the additional step of attribution. We pass the savings on to you by providing these fine coins at very reasonable prices. Due to their inexpensive nature, all Special items listed are sold as-is and are non-returnable, and carry no guarantees either expressed or implied. In the unlikely event you do feel your purchase of a Special was not as advertised, please contact us via email and we will be happy to explore options with you.
How to Order
From our Current Offerings page, simply click the Send Inquiry button for the item you're interested in. This will prepare a contact form with the coin details prepared for you. Upon submission of your purchase request, we will reserve the coin(s) for you, and contact you via e-mail with information regarding the next steps, specifically payment and shipping arrangements.
Our preferred method of payment is via PayPal, however as indicated above, we accept personal and cashier's checks as well. Some additional time may be necessary to process personal checks or other forms of payment via "snail" mail, so please keep this in mind. Once payment and shipping details have been secured, your coin will be packaged, insured and shipped to you within one business day.
